HERBS FOR HEALTH
.
In Traditional Chinese medicine, good health depends on:
1) Flow of qi and blood (energy, fluid, and food)
The free flow of qi and blood nourishes us, cleans us, and heals us. Constraints or obstructions to this free flow may appear as pain or physical or mental illness. Poor flow also inhibits healing and can result in emotional imbalances as well.2) Balance of yin and yang (hot /cold, damp/dry, etc.)
Harmony in life and thought help to create harmony in the body.Chinese herbal medicine can help maintain and restore flow and balance once the causes have been diagnosed. Diagnosis and treatment are based on the four examinations and are best done by a practitioner of TCM. Use this link to find a practitioner near you. http://www.drshen.com/resource.html.
